Modules
Each Module typically has three components:
- A Student Guide. This is what we provide the students.
- An Instructor Guide. This is given to our Learning
Assistants (formerly called Teaching Assistants), and to
the Instructors in the course.
- Equipment List & Setup. This is given to our
technologists.
This page provides access to the Student Guide and the Equipment
List & Setup documents. They are in pdf format.
If you are an instructor, contact us to get copies of the
Instructor Guides.
We also have found it useful to use multiple-choice quizzes as
part of a typical session. We will share those with instructors
also.
Many Modules also have ancillary materials. These can include:
- Flash animations.
- Java applets
- VPython code
- Excel code
Access to these are also provided via this page.
The links below are roughly in the order in which we use them in
our Practicals. For a given year, not all Modules will be used.
Similarly, there are more Activities in each Module than can be
used in a given year.
