Introduction

"The pendulum of the mind oscillates between sense and nonsense, not between right and wrong." -- C.G. Jung

Today's Class

We shall be having some class presentations and a guest lecturer over the next few weeks. The explicit content of none of these will be examinable. However, I shall be using at least a couple of the presentations to provide background information for classes that I shall coordinate. The content of the classes that I coordinate will, of course, be examinable.

We began a discussion of Bell's Theorem. Supplementary Notes are available: html pdf. We finished deriving the inequality, and began discussing the consequences. This carried us nearly through the What If Logic Is Invalid? section.
