Fit Options
The default behavior of the fitter is what one wishes for most simple
applications. However, this behavior can be changed by means of options, which
are discussed in the sections below. Each section includes "snapshots" of the
relevant part of the Fit Options screen where the options are set, and usually
parts of the Fit Results screen.
The Fit Options are accessed from the Fit Setup screen.
Both the top and bottom of the Fit Options screen has the following
array of buttons:
The meanings of the buttons are:
- Submit: submit the options to the fitter and return to the Fit
Setup screen.
- Submit and Perform the Fit: submit the options to the fitter,
and perform the fit. Unless something goes wrong, you will then go to the
Fit Results screen.
- Reset to defaults: set all options to their default
values.
- Comment: send a comment, bug report, etc. to the developers of
this program.
- Terse: go to a less verbose description of the options. When
pressed, the label on the button becomes Verbose.
- Help: display this help screen in a separate window.
