Although we commonly perceive faces as symmetric, in fact there are asymmetries in them. Below I have used a number of photographs of people's faces in which the person is facing the camera directly. I then took each photograph and copied the left half of the face and its mirror image and joined them together. I similarly copied the right half of the face and its mirror image and joined them together. |
