Today we began Chapter 22 - Wave Optics. We talked about §22.1 and almost finished our discussion of §22.2.

| As announced, the mathematical details of diffraction discussed in §22.4 and §22.5 have been dropped from the syllabus. However some qualitative aspects of diffraction will be required for our purposes. The link to the right opens a small Supplementary Note I have prepared on this topic.
